There are several ways to perform a right-click (also known as a secondary click) on a Chromebook:
Two-Finger Tap: Place two fingers on the touchpad and tap. This is the most common and often the easiest method.
Alt + Click: Press and hold the Alt
key on the keyboard, then click anywhere on the touchpad with one finger. This simulates a right-click.
